What We Offer Our motel offers 23 rooms that have been extensively renovated in the Fall of 2006. The rooms contain either 1 double, 2 doubles, 3 doubles, 1 queen, 2 queens or 1 king size bed. All rooms have a private three piece bathroom, cable television, phone, free high speed wireless internet access, non-allergenic laminate flooring, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and air conditioning. All guests also enjoy complimentary juice and water located in the fridges of the rooms as well you receive a 15% discount on breakfast purchases at Sophia's Cafe restaurant, located only moments away. There are also various other food products for purchase in the main office. |

About Historic Shelburne The town of Shelburne is located on the south-western shore of Nova Scotia. The town was founded in 1783 by Loyalist settlers from New York and from the middle colonies of America. A year later, the population of this new community is estimated to have been at least ten thousand which would have made it the fourth largest in North America, much larger than either Halifax or Montreal at the time. Although Shelburne is smaller today, it still remains the capital of the county which bears its name and still has a rich heritage that continues today.
